Matthew Lloyd Architects was invited in 2007 to redevelop the crypt of this historic Grade II Listed 18th century church for community use and to provide for the future in creating the potential for income generation. The brief includes a new gallery area, 3 additional meeting rooms, a semi-commercial kitchen and the installation of additional wheelchair-accessible toilet facilities.  The completed project is a quiet intervention, using a limited palette of materials and high-specification details to produce a light, peaceful space.
